INDIA’S 2019 ELECTIONS: IMPLICATIONS FOR BUSINESS
Thursday, May 23, 2019
3:00 pm - 4:00 pm Washington, DC
The results of India’s multi-week, phased national elections will be tallied and announced on May 23. The next Indian government will need to address critical issues such as data privacy, e-commerce, healthcare, urbanization, and mobility while maintaining a social safety net for India’s population of 1.3 billion citizens.
Please join Albright Stonebridge Group (ASG) and the U.S.-India Business Council for a timely discussion about India’s election results, with a focus on implications for companies doing business in India. The discussion will address expected trade and economic priorities of the next Indian government, and opportunities that might emerge from these priorities.
