Mark Lippert is Boeing Vice President of International Government Affairs. In this role, he develops and implements country and regional government affairs’ strategies to support Boeing’s non-U.S. operations and global growth plans. He reports to Marc Allen, president of Boeing International.

Lippert joined Boeing in 2017. Previously, he served as the U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Korea. Prior to that, Lippert held senior positions in the Department of Defense, including as chief of staff to Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel and as Assistant Secretary of Defense for Asian and Pacific Security Affairs. He also served in the White House as chief of staff to the National Security Council.

Lippert is a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces and received numerous awards, including the Bronze Star Medal for his service in Iraq.

He graduated from Stanford University with a B.A. in political science and an M.A. in international policy studies.
