Sana Bagwan supports the U.S.-India Business Council’s Financial Services and Media and Entertainment portfolios in India. Based in Mumbai, she is primarily focused on policy analysis and research, and facilitates USIBC advocacy and member-focused reports on industry, regulators and Government of India ministries.
Sana began her career in luxury retail management for international fashion and furniture brands, and gradually moved into the corporate sector. She brings a decade of experience with the banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) sector and Non Banking Financial Companies (NBFC). She is also deeply immersed in accounting standards and more general economic and trade policy issues based on her previous work with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), where she worked in the western region headquarters.
Sana holds a Bachelor in Science – Clinical Pathology from YCM Open University and is pursuing graduate degree in Strategy and Management from IMT Ghaziabad. She is an avid swimmer with a keen interest in design, art, and travel, and lives with family in Mumbai.
