Roshni Bhalla is a dual-qualified attorney licensed to practice in New York and India. Prior to joining the USIBC, she was an associate at the New York office of Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP, where her practice was focused on advising U.S. companies and investment banks on capital markets transactions, including initial public offerings, follow-on equity offerings and investment-grade and high-yield debt offerings.
Prior to Davis Polk, Bhalla worked at the Mumbai and Delhi offices of Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, where she represented issuers and book running lead managers on a range of capital markets offerings and advised companies on corporate governance and securities law matters. Earlier in her career, Bhalla practiced litigation at the Delhi High Court.
Bhalla was born in New York City and grew up in New Delhi, and speaks fluent Hindi. She holds a B.A.,LL.B. degree from Amity Law School, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in Delhi and a Master’s in International and Comparative Law from The George Washington University Law School in Washington D.C.
Bhalla takes a keen interest in public policy, international affairs and the financial services space. In her spare time, Bhalla likes to travel, read, watch Indian cinema and learn about skincare.
