All day event Washington DC

The U.S.-India Business Council will host Deputy Assistant to the President and National Security Council Director for South and Central Asia Lisa Curtis at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

After a high-impact series of engagements between the United States and India over the past several months, including Prime Minister Modi’s visit to the United States, U.N. General Assembly meetings, and ongoing negotiations on a limited trade deal, Curtis will provide an update on the state of the U.S.-India partnership.

She will also provide a brief update from UNGA week and key takeaways from meetings with business and government leaders, and share her views on India’s economic trajectory. This is designed to be an interactive session, with a Q&A session and discussion following the debrief.

This is a USIBC members-only event. For more information on our engagements with U.S. government officials, please contact Ben Schwartz.
