Transcript

The United States Chamber of Commerce is endorsing Judge John G. Roberts for a seat on the U.S. Supreme Court.  Roberts is highly regarded and well respected by the legal and business communities.  As a lawyer in private practice, Judge Roberts argued 39 cases in the Supreme Court, and established himself as one of the preeminent members of the Supreme Court bar. He understands important business issues, and has represented some of the nation’s leading companies -- on matters ranging from the supremacy of federal law to the proper interpretation of the Americans with Disabilities Act. If Judge Roberts is confirmed, his experience will serve the Court and nation favorably. The Chamber looks forward to participating in his confirmation process.
