USIBC Media and Entertainment Trade Mission
USIBC's Media & Entertainment (M&E) Committee, in coordination with the Cable and Satellite Broadcasting Association of Asia (CASBAA), is organizing a two-city mission to promote the M&E sector and lower barriers to cooperation in this growing sector. According to a 2017 survey, India’s M&E segment generates $19.4B in annual revenue and is growing at 14% a year. The mission has three elements, starting with the CASBAA OTT and Broadband workshop on Friday, March 23, Mumbai.
Following a tentative site visit to a new film city in Mumbai, the delegation will shift to New Delhi for an extensive door know with key stakeholders such as the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB), the Department of Telecommunications (DOT), et al.
