Please join the U.S.-India Business Council (USIBC) for a day-long conference focused on the opportunity that exists for India in the global biopharmaceutical sector.  India is a global leader in production of pharmaceutical products, but opportunity abounds for India to move up the value chain and become the global destination for research and drug development.
Experts including Meir Pugatch, Frank Lichtenberg from Columbia University and Mike May from Scientific American will be speaking at this event, which will aim to be a substantive interaction between industry thought leaders and stakeholders within the Government of India.
Topics of discussion will include:
• The Value of Innovation: Economic and Healthcare Access Benefits
• Clinical Trials, Innovation, and the Importance of a Competitive R&D Economy
• Not a Zero Sum Proposition: Expanding Healthcare Access While Maintaining Growth
• Commercializing Innovation: the Role of IP, Clinical Trial Legislation, and Bayh-Dole "like" Legislation in Building the Innovative Biopharmaceutical Industry
With questions, please contact Mr. Michael Green at mgreen@usibc.com.
