Please join us on August 29, 2016 for the launch of the U.S.-India Innovation Forum at FICCI Federation House, New Delhi. The Innovation Forum is a unique initiative of the U.S. and Indian governments to promote entrepreneurial culture and innovation partnerships in the U.S. and India. The Forum is the premier platform for Indian and U.S. innovators to exchange ideas, contacts, and best practices.

The forum will include a special address by His Excellency Mr. Richard R. Verma, U.S. Ambassador to India and by Dr. Elizabeth Sherwood-Randall, Deputy Secretary, U.S. Department of Energy. Top experts on the role of innovation in the economy will address the launch event, including Dr. Didar Singh, Secretary General, FICCI, Mr. Eric Alexander, President, Uber Asia, and Dr. Paul E. Jacobs, Executive Chairman, Qualcomm Incorporated.


The launch event will formally recognize the Steering Committee and host three panels featuring some of the world's leading experts in the Forum's three work streams;

·         University Research Networks;

·         The Role of Innovation Ecosystems; and 

·         Government Support for Private Sector Innovation Research

 

The launch of the U.S.-India Innovation Forum will precede the start of the 2016 U.S.-India Strategic and Commercial Dialogue (S&CD) being held in India this year. The work of the Innovation Forum is expected to be reflected in the S&CD deliberations.
