USIBC Supports the South Asian Studies Association (SASA) 8th Annual Conference
 
The South Asian Studies Association (SASA) will hold their eighth annual conference this year at Claremont McKenna College, March 24-26, in Claremont, CA.  The three day event will span across 20 panel discussions and 3 major plenary sessions. Over 60 colleges and universities will have their South Asia focused scholars represented. The conference will  include the SASA Annual Banquet and Exemplar Awards, on Saturday evening, March 25th during which Government of India’s Consul General, San Francisco, Ambassador Venkatesan Ashok, will deliver the Keynote Address. The three honorees are Dr. Rafiq Dossani, Director of the RAND Center for Pacific Asia Policy, for Academic Achievement, and philanthropists Pratima & Navin Doshi, for Community Service. USIBC is pleased to support this conference and further the support of scholarship in South Asian studies.
